We at Argentum would like to help you out a little. In the sidebar on the right you will find a long list of very talented headshot photographers. They are listed in alphabetical order. Each one provides a very unique service which makes them succesful in their own right. Click on a name to open a simple profile page featuring a few sample headshots, contact information and a link to the photographer's website.
Check out their work, visit their sites, meet with them, ask questions. Some of the points worth considering:

Do not choose a photographer lightly. Do your homework. It is the most important decision you are going to make about your headshot and your image. You're an actor. You're up against an entire metropolis of stiff competition. Your headshot must stand out. It must represent you. It must be spectacular.
If you pull it off (and you CAN) it'll open doors for you.
