There’s a kind of irony in pulling the EVERYMAN archetype - especially when connection has never come easily. When I first drew this card, I laughed. Of course, it would be the archetype of my birthday month… And, of course, it would be the one I’ve wrestled with most of my life.

As someone who is mildly autistic, I’ve often struggled to fit in, to maintain friendships, to feel truly part of a “whole”. But the beauty - and the ache - of EVERYMAN is that it holds space for both: the outsider and the observer, the seeker and the soul. It’s not about being the life of the party. It’s about paying attention. It’s about showing up. It’s about believing that our similarities can be sacred, not stifling.

I joined ARgENTUM in 2017 at 24. I had already known the brand from afar, working on the retail side back in Moscow as far back as 2014. But stepping into the brand from the inside - that was different. I was still settling into my new life in the UK, headphones in ears, walking through Brighton’s quiet streets listening to Truth by Handsome Boy Modeling School on repeat. That whole season felt like observation - like gently tuning in to a new frequency.

From there, everything changed. And ARgENTUM became part of that everything.

It’s hard to separate who I’ve become from the rhythm of this work. Over the past eight years – from 24 to 32 – I’ve grown with the brand. I’ve learned what kind of energy I want to put into the world. I’ve learned how to express myself through my work and my relationships. I’ve learned how to be more me.

This playlist is a map of that evolution. It’s laced with old ghosts, inside jokes, best friends, midnight epiphanies and hopeful mornings. Every song holds a memory:

- Archer by Taylor Swift is the sound of social anxiety - a fluttering heartbeat that never calms down. “Can you see right through me?” she asks.

- Line of Fire by José González reminds me that we can always step away from pain and find hope.

- Pictures by Benjamin Francis Leftwich holds the echo of my late brother’s memory. “If you are afraid, don’t be. I have the whole thing planned”.

- Kaskade’s Turn It Down will forever smell like my old commute to the ARgENTUM office, pre-pandemic - head down, heart open.

- Sweet Disposition is for Anna, my best friend since we were six. I can still see us walking through green, sunny Moscow, sharing headphones and everything else.

The EVERYMAN, for me, isn’t about blending in. It’s about being brave enough to connect. It’s dancing when no one else is. It’s honouring your roots (Naadia - Движение). It’s feeling exposed (Snow Patrol - Called Out in the Dark) and still letting the light in (Lana del Rey). It’s Florence’s voice shouting “I hear the music, I feel the beat” - and finally, finally feeling free.

And when the credits roll, I want Labyrinth’s No Ordinary playing. Love is the answer, always. I’m lucky to know what that feels like now.

This is the EVERYMAN soundtrack. I hope it makes you feel seen. I hope it gives you something to hold on to. I hope it reminds you that connection is still possible - even if it takes time.

Let the light in.
